What is Powered By Community

Powered by Community is a partnership between business, non-profits, community resources and community members to create new prosperity. First communities identify their challenges and pinpoint programs that will address needs with the greatest impact. Then, financial resources are identified. Volunteer leadership coordinates solutions with the input and assistance of community members.

Programs may include civic improvements, educational opportunities and job training programs, access to affordable housing, business expansion, and infrastructure development.

Financial assistance may take the form of loans, grants, or contributions in-kind such as loaned expertise, training resources or access to business development tools.

Every business can participate by investing in the community as a sponsor, a leader, and a beneficiary.

Every community can benefit with a stronger business sector, more support for civic and human services and a clear path to a better future.
